Step 2: Get Confirmed via WhatsApp
We will personally message you on WhatsApp to confirm the exact timing slot for your booked date.
We also send a live sky update 1–2 hours before your session to ensure Clear views. If the sky Conditions are not good, we will reschedule for another day.
Step 3: Attend & Pay After Your Session
Arrive Observatory at your scheduled time, enjoy exclusive live views through our massive 12-inch telescope, and pay after your stargazing session is finished.

How will I receive my booking confirmation?
Once your booking request is received, our team will contact you by WhatsApp to confirm your telescope slot and provide all necessary details.
What can I see through the telescope?
Depending on the season and weather, you may observe the Moon, Saturn's rings, Jupiter and its moons, Venus, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and other celestial objects visible from Delhi NCR.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Advance booking is mandatory as we have limited observation slots each night. Walk-in visitors are generally not accommodated
Why should I book a telescope session at Real Sky Observatory instead of buying a telescope?
A professional telescope can be expensive and requires experience to set up and operate. At Real Sky Observatory, you can enjoy guided observations through a 12-inch professional Dobsonian telescope, learn about the night sky from experienced astronomy enthusiasts, and experience celestial objects without the cost or complexity of owning a telescope
What happens if the sky is cloudy on the day of my booking?
Astronomy depends on clear skies. If weather conditions are unsuitable, your session will be rescheduled to the next available clear night at no additional cost.
What is the best time to book a telescope session?
The best viewing depends on the season. Winter and post-monsoon months usually offer the clearest skies, while the Moon, planets, and special astronomy events are scheduled throughout the year.
Is prior astronomy knowledge required?
No. Our sessions are designed for complete beginners. Our team explains everything you observe through the telescope in simple and engaging language.
Do I need to pay in advance to reserve a telescope slot?
Shared Stargazing Sessions do not require any advance payment. You can reserve your preferred date and pay after your observation. For Private Stargazing and Birthday Celebrations, a small non-refundable token amount is required to confirm your booking.

Is this experience suitable for children and beginners?
Absolutely! Our guided stargazing sessions are designed for families, children, students, couples, and first-time visitors. No prior astronomy knowledge is required—we explain every celestial object in a simple, engaging way so everyone can enjoy the experience.
Why isn't my booking confirmed immediately?
Unlike regular attractions, telescope observations depend on clear skies and favorable weather conditions. We personally review every booking request and confirm the best available date so you can enjoy the highest-quality stargazing experience.
How is my booking date confirmed?
You can choose your preferred visit date while booking. However, Real Sky Observatory will confirm the final date based on weather conditions, clear skies, and slot availability to ensure the best possible stargazing experience.
Can I choose my preferred date and time?
Yes. You can select your preferred date while booking. We conduct one guided stargazing experience each evening from 7:00 PM onwards, and your final booking confirmation will be shared after checking weather and availability.
Is the Birthday Under the Stars package suitable for adults too?
Yes! While it's especially popular with children, the package can also be customized for teenagers and adults celebrating birthdays under the stars. Decorations and arrangements can be tailored to your celebration.
